SUCCESSFULLY UPGRADED AND OPERATED THE T24 R21 CORE BANKING SYSTEM

Phnom Penh 18th May 2022 – Sacombank Cambodia and Dai-ichi Life Insurance Cambodia celebrated their first year’s bancassurance partnership that provides long-term life insurance protection and savings to Cambodian families. The celebration also recognized the achievements of and contributions from Sacombank Cambodia’s top branches in 2021.

SACOMBANK CAMBODIA CELEBRATES 12th ANNIVERSARY
Established on June 23, 2009, Sacombank Cambodia is the first bank of Vietnam operating in Cambodia. After 12 years of establishment and development, Sacombank Cambodia has been gradually affirming its position as a dynamic and effective retail bank in Cambodia. Official launching SC mBanking
On 26/08/2020, Sacombank Cambodia officially launched Sacombank Cambodia Mobile Banking (SC mBanking) – the mobile banking application with the latest modern technology. With SC mBanking, clients will be able to check their account information, perform routine banking easily, and stay informed on all ongoing transactions. This application not only has all the features of Sacombank Cambodia Internet banking service but also allows to monitor the accounts and cards, transfer money between Sacombank Cambodia accounts as well as to other bank accounts, pay bills for various service providers, Top Up and more.

10 Year anniversary of sacombank Cambodia
On June 22, 2019, Sacombank Cambodia successfully organized “10th Anniversary of Sacombank Cambodia”. It’s been 10 years since Sacombank opened its first Phnom Penh branch on 23/06/2009, making it the first Vietnamese bank to expand its business in Cambodia. Grand Opening Preah Norodom Branch
Approved by National Bank of Cambodia, Sacombank Vietnam Board of Management and Board of Management Sacombank Cambodia, on October 25, 2018, Sacombank Cambodia has celebrated the opening of Preah Norodom branch, located at SC Headquarters, separated from the professional offices of SC Head Office, to professionalize customer care and service, meeting the diversified financial banking demands of customers.

Sacombank (Cambodia) Plc opening Takhmao Branch After being granted official license, Sacombank Cambodia held the opening ceremony of its eighth business location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Takmao City of Kandal Province – a new potential economic zone bordering Phnom Penh.

17 January 2013 Opening of Phsar Heng Ly branch to response to strong demands of banking’s needs of local customer around Phar Heng Ly market areas.
24 June 2013 Sacombank Cambodia announced the opening of Pochentong branch in the western part of Phnom Penh city. This branch is Sacombank Cambodia’s 7th entity in the country, complementing Head Office and 5 branches: Olympic, Preah Monivong, Chbar Ampeou, Kampong Cham, Phsar Heng Ly.

06 December 2012 Sacombank Cambodia kicked-off cross-border trade payment service, aims to streamline the process for settling cross-border trade in the Vietnam dong and enables Cambodian enterprises to conduct cross-border trade in Vietnam dong electronically without holding an account in the currency. Vice versa, Cambodia suppliers can also receive their payment from Vietnam buyer directly in Khmer riel. The implementing of this service has been supporting the daily trade payment of enterprises in the both country and therefore enhance their trading capacity.
26 November 2012 In the response to strong demands from the bank’s customers, Sacombank Cambodia moved its Vietnamese Supermarket Branch to a larger office located at 537 A-B Monivong Boulevard, Phnom Penh under the name of Preah Monivong branch. The creation of a new transaction office in the city centre is the right thing to support the continuous expansion of the bank. The new office has a perfect location where the economic development, strategy and growth potential exist.
22 March 2012 For the first time, Sacombank (Cambodia) Plc. (Sacombank Cambodia) started outreaching to one of the busiest trading hubs outside the capital city by opening a branch in Kampong Cham province. Besides the key products and services to meet the financial demands of local customers, the newest branch provides quick money transfer services between Kampong Cham and Phnom Penh, increasing the trading capacity between the country’s two biggest economic hubs.
